The attackers attacked multiple times, causing a total loss of about 20 million US dollars. The analysis found that the attackers borrowed VELO tokens through lightning loans and sent them to the soVELO contract through transfer, created new contracts many times, borrowed various tokens of the Sonne Finance protocol in the new contract, and redeemed the VELO Token tokens. This repeated operation emptied all funds.
At present, attackers mainly store funds at the following addresses: addresses starting with 0x02FA262, addresses starting with 0x5D0D99, and addresses starting with 0xae4A7cD.
