Optimism plans to allocate 850 million OP tokens (worth approximately 3.3 billion US dollars) to support blockchain builders. Optimism Collect, a governance and community department under Optimism, stated that a portion of the 850 million OPs will be distributed in four rounds starting from May and continuing until the end of 2024. Among them, 40 million OPs, worth approximately $158 million, have been allocated in the past three rounds. (Cointelgraph)
