According to Domo, the creator of the BRC-20 protocol and founder of Layer1 Foundation, in a post on the X platform, the proposal to enhance the release and destruction of BRC20 is about to be implemented and is expected to be upgraded at block height 837090. At that time, BRC20 will support only allowing deployers to participate in casting and issuing assets with 5-byte code after asset deployment, in order to isolate existing assets.
