Hong Kong virtual asset ETF management total assets exceeded 300 million US dollars

On May 14th, Hong Kong media revealed that the total assets under management of virtual asset ETFs in Hong Kong exceeded 300 million US dollars, and the gross merchandise volume of six virtual asset ETFs has reached 20 million Hong Kong dollars per day since its listing. In the past year, Hong Kong's virtual asset and Web3 industries have been looking for a model suitable for the development of regional characteristics, from VATP, Hong Kong dollar stablecoins, VAOTC, tokenization and RWA, to virtual asset spot ETFs. In terms of stablecoins, Hong Kong has chosen different regulatory measures from Singapore and Japan, and regulated them by imposing new licenses rather than incorporating them into the payment system. This is a regulatory innovation.
