IBTCEX and QuanXLab's Hong Kong virtual asset trading platform license applications have been withdrawn

On May 14, according to updated data from the official website of the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission, the virtual asset trading platform license applications submitted by IBTCEX and QuanXLab to the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission have been withdrawn.
According to relevant information, the company name of the virtual asset trading platform operator submitted by IBTCEX is "Willows Asia Technology Company Limited", and the Chinese name is "Yonghao Lizhou Technology Co., Ltd.". The application was submitted on February 22, 2024, and the application was withdrawn on May 13. The company name of the virtual asset trading platform operator submitted by QuanXLab is "QuanX Lab Limited", and the Chinese name is "Quanyi Technology Co., Ltd.". The application was submitted on February 29, 2024, and the application was withdrawn on May 13.
According to the information disclosed by the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission, the relevant license application has been returned, rejected or withdrawn, including but not limited to the following reasons: the license application has been returned by the Securities Supervision Commission due to incompleteness and/or there are important issues that have not been resolved; and the license application has been rejected or withdrawn.
So far, the number of applicants for the withdrawal and return of virtual asset trading platform licenses announced by the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission is 6. After Huobi HK withdrew the application, it submitted it again, and the number of virtual asset trading platform applications listed is 21.
