On December 23rd, the Solana Foundation announced the launch of Kora, a fee-based relay and signature node for the Solana ecosystem that supports fee-free transactions, custom fee tokens, and other features.
There wasn't a modern, standardised way to do fee collection and remote signing. While Solana's account model made these features technically feasible, there was a dearth of ready-to-use solutions on the market. Kora was born as a result, with the following features:
Full payment of transaction fees;
Pay fees with any token (including stablecoins).
Transfer the signing operation to a secure environment.
