The three major indices of US stocks collectively closed higher, the S & P 500 index rose 0.64%, the Nasdaq index rose 0.52%, and the Dow index rose 0.47%. Large technology stocks were mixed, Tesla and Nvidia rose more than 1%, Google, Amazon, and Meta rose slightly; Intel and Netflix fell more than 1%, while Apple and Microsoft fell slightly.
