The probability of maintaining interest rates unchanged is 80.1%. Last week, the probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates in January rose to 31%.
The probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged until March next year is 44.7%, the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 25 basis points is 46.5%, and the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 50 basis points is 8.8%. The Fed's next two FOMC meetings are on January 28 and March 18, 2026.
