On December 21, Sean Farrell, head of cryptocurrency strategy at Fundstrat, a fund owned by Tom Lee, said in a post on the X platform in response to the "disagreement between its market views and Tom Lee's views" that the previous more cautious first-half views reflected risk management rather than outright bearishness. The current market pricing is almost perfect, but risks still exist, including government shutdown, trade volatility, artificial intelligence capital expenditure uncertainty, and the replacement of the Federal Reserve chair. At the same time, high-yield bond spreads are tight and cross-asset volatility is low. Recent capital flows are also divergent. The current benchmark judgment: there may be a rebound at the beginning of the year, followed by another correction in the first half of the year, providing a more attractive opportunity for the year-end layout. If I am wrong, I prefer to wait for a confirmation signal. For investors watching this outlook, I still expect Bitcoin and Ethereum to challenge new all-time highs before the end of the year, ending the traditional four-year cycle with a shorter, smaller bear market.
