Elon Musk's fortune soared to $749 billion late Friday after the Delaware Supreme Court restored $139 billion worth of Tesla stock options that were voided last year, according to the Forbes Billionaires Index. Musk's 2018 compensation package, worth $56 billion, was reinstated on Friday by the Delaware Supreme Court after a lower court dismissed it as "outrageous" two years ago. The Supreme Court said the 2024 ruling to revoke the package was improper and unfair to Musk. Earlier this week, it was reported that its space start-up SpaceX (SpaceX) may be about to go public, and then Musk's net worth exceeded $600 billion, becoming the first billionaire in the world to achieve this achievement.
