Mr. Hayes said many traders still expected the counterfeit products market to play out as it has in previous years, seeing the same cryptocurrencies and the same patterns repeating themselves. "You want it to be like the last counterfeit products market because then you feel like you know what to do," Mr. Hayes said.
Mr. Hayes said cryptocurrency traders should rethink their trading strategies and focus on new developments in the market, rather than relying on historical experience. "This is a new phase, and new factors give new impetus," he stressed.
