Conflux: RWA.XYZ exaggerate global RWA assets by'fabricating data '

December 19th news, Conflux co-founder Forgiven issued a document saying that the current market widely circulated "the total value of assets represented by the global RWA 410 billion US dollars" data is seriously misleading, the source behind the RWA data website RWA.XYZ recent artificial caliber adjustment. Before the RWA.XYZ revision, the RWA industry assets were about 30 billion US dollars, but after the revision suddenly expanded to 410 billion US dollars, mainly because the website introduced two new statistical caliber:
· Reported Asset Value: Assets that only issue digital certificates in private chains or closed systems, but do not experience actual on-chain transfer and distribution, with a current statistical scale of about $410 billion;
Distributed Asset Value: RWA assets that are actually distributed to investors through the public chain, DeFi protocol, or exchange, and can be held, currently about $18 billion.
Forgiven pointed out that about 91% of the current hyped $410 billion data comes from assets issued on the private chain Canton (Guangdong chain), and another about $14 billion comes from the home equity credit (HELOC) product issued by Figure on its self-developed private chain Provenance. These assets have little direct relationship with the crypto market, only "private chain ledger tokens". Distributed Value Asset ($18 billion) better reflects the real demand structure of the RWA industry. He also cautioned against superstitious Wall Street narratives or "authoritative data platforms", arguing that some data platforms have turned to cooperate with capital packaging narratives after obtaining Crypto traffic and dividends, misleading market perceptions, and calling for vigilance against the recent hype of the RWA concept in Hong Kong stocks.
