Forbes report: Stablecoin competition enters'security-first 'institutional stage

On December 19, Forbes recently released an in-depth report, focusing on the latest progress of the US stablecoin regulatory framework, and focusing on quoting the 2025 Skynet US Digital Asset Policy Report released by the world's largest Web3 security company, CertiK. The report quoted CertiK's analysis and pointed out that as key policies such as the GENIUS Act continue to advance, the US digital asset industry is moving from broad principles to a new stage centered on specific requirements, enforceable regulations, and institutional-level compliance expectations.
Gu Ronghui, co-founder and CEO of CertiK, said in the report that the issuers that will stand out in the stablecoin race in the future will be those companies that have established mature, institutional-level operating systems at the level of reserve management, transparency and infrastructure, and the industry as a whole is also shifting to "security first".
In addition, Forbes quoted a report by CertiK as saying that the divergence of regulatory paths between the United States and Europe is reshaping the global liquidity landscape of stablecoins: the United States regards the dollar stablecoin as a strategic asset, while the European Union MiCA framework focuses on protecting the sovereignty of the euro currency, gradually forming a "dual-track" stablecoin system. CertiK believes that regulation will not only determine who can issue stablecoins, but also who can compete on a global scale, and the real competition is shifting to long-term, cross-regulatory system operation capabilities.
