The three major U.S. stock indexes collectively opened higher, with the Dow up 0.67%, the S & P 500 up 1.00% and the Nasdaq Composite up 1.43%. Micron's earnings report showed strong demand for memory chips, easing investor concerns about a possible slowdown in data center construction. Micron Technology rose 13%, Oracle, Nvidia and AMD rose more than 2%. Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group jumped 23% after it announced it would merge with TAE Technologies.
