Goldman Sachs: Low inflation data won't affect Federal Reserve decision-making

Kai Hayh, global co-head of fixed income and liquidity solutions at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, said today's low inflation data would not have any impact on the Fed's decision-making, given the volatility of the data. The Fed will instead focus on December CPI, released in mid-January, which will be released two weeks before the Fed's next meeting and can be seen as a more accurate measure of inflation.
