Hong Kong Deputy Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Chen Hao Lian said that as of the beginning of May, the Hong Kong government's new capital investor entry scheme (CIES) has received more than 2,500 enquiries and more than 140 applications. Chen Hao Lian pointed out that qualified persons can invest at least 30 million yuan in approved investment assets, including funds authorized by the Securities Supervision Commission, to settle in Hong Kong and seek development. Last month, Hong Kong also welcomed the listing of the first batch of spot virtual asset ETFs, adding diversity to the Hong Kong market products and further supporting Hong Kong's position as a leading ETF market.
