Crypto bank Custodia submits application for rehearing of lawsuit against Federal Reserve to appellate court

Custodia Bank has filed a full-judge rehearing petition with the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in connection with legal action with the Federal Reserve. The bank argues that the Fed's refusal to establish a master account undermines the authority of state banks and raises constitutional issues. Custodia Bank asked the court to reconsider its October ruling in favor of the Federal Reserve's refusal to allow the bank to use core central bank payment services, a fight that has set a precedent for cryptocurrency banks to access the U.S. payment system.
