Aether Games has announced its official shutdown, making the crypto game project unsustainable

Aether Games has officially announced the official closure of operations. The project released a statement on the social platform saying that despite various efforts and adjustments made by the team, it has never been able to attract the size of players required to survive. The project side admitted that the TGE (Token Generation Event) period was a turning point, and many transactions with KOLs, partners and consultants proved to be dishonest, resulting in serious loss of funds. At the same time, major exchanges including KuCoin, Gate and Bybit have issued a risk notice for the removal of AEG tokens, making the project unable to continue to maintain.
Aether Games also pointed out that the high cost, high complexity and security risks of the crypto game market were key factors contributing to the failure. Recently, the project has suffered multiple hacking attempts, one of which successfully affected some users. To prevent more fraud risks, the official has decided to close the Discord community. In its farewell letter, the team advised future project developers to consider small fair fundraising and focus on DEX liquidity, rather than relying on expensive commitments and unstable partnerships.
