According to Cointelegraph, security researcher Taylor Monahan warned that hackers sent Telegram messages through fake real-world friends, inviting victims to Zoom meetings, and then sent "patch" files containing malicious software due to audio problems. The technique has caused more than $300 million in losses and is now a daily threat.
