According to CriptoNoticias, members of the Bolivian Blockchain Association plan to submit proposals to the president aimed at tokenizing gold and other precious metals on the Ethereum network.
The proposed tokenisation of gold and other precious metals on Ethereum would enable traceability from mining to state reserves in an effort to curb corruption. The proposed model follows the example of the Kingdom of Bhutan, which issued a gold token backed by its sovereign reserves on the Solana network in December 2025.
