According to CCTV news, on December 12 local time, US President Trump said on the social media platform "Real Social" that he had spoken to Thai Prime Minister Anutin and Cambodian Prime Minister Hong Manai that morning to discuss the latest situation of the border conflict between the two countries. Trump said that the leaders of the two countries have agreed to stop all exchanges of fire from that night and return to the original peace agreement reached under his participation. Trump also thanked Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Anwar for his assistance in brokering the ceasefire.
