Pioneer Investments focuses on blockchain technology but is cautious about bitcoin

Speaking at the "ETFs in Depth" crypto symposium, John Ameriks of Pioneer Investments said that blockchain technology itself was attractive to companies, enabling faster settlements, more efficient collateral and lower costs. He asked: "Is there a way to just use blockchain and not involve cryptocurrencies?" At the same time, he pointed out that if asset tokenization does not become mainstream, then Bitcoin is just a "digital toy" for him.
