Binance API update hints at the launch of stock perpetual contracts

According to The Block, according to the Binance Exchange's December 11 update to its derivatives API documentation, the Binance Futures API has added an endpoint for signing "TradFi-Perps Protocol Contracts", suggesting that preparations for stock perpetual futures are underway. The exchange has not officially announced the launch, nor has it officially announced the launch of stock perpetual contracts. It is not clear when and whether the tool will be launched, but the dedicated stock perpetual contract interface it provides indicates that the relevant infrastructure is being prepared behind the scenes.
