Benjamin Melman, chief executive of asset manager Edmond de Rothschild, said the dollar could face another downside risk next year. "If there is renewed concern about US interest rates, or if the artificial intelligence bubble suddenly bursts, the dollar will be at risk." The dollar has continued to weaken this year as the Federal Reserve cuts interest rates. The dollar index DXY last fell 0.05% to 98.59. The index hit a three-and-a-half-year low of 96.218 in mid-September. (Golden Ten)
