The Fed's dot plot shows median expectations for the end of 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and the long-term federal funds rate at 3.6 percent, 3.4 percent, 3.1 percent, 3.1 percent and 3.0 percent, respectively. (September expectations are 3.6 percent, 3.4 percent, 3.1 percent, 3.1 percent and 3.0 percent.)
