"The four-year cycle is over, the market has changed and is maturing," Hunter Horsley, Bitwise's chief executive, wrote in a post on X. "When we look back at 2025, the market has been in a bear market since February - only this trend has been masked by the continued buying of DATs and bitcoin reserve companies.
