Tidal Trust plans to launch a night-trading bitcoin ETF

On December 10, Tidal Trust filed its first application with the US SEC for a Bitcoin AfterDark ETF. According to the registration document, the ETF will buy bitcoin at the close of the US market and sell it when trading resumes the next day. During the day, the fund's assets will be reinvested in US Treasuries, money market funds and similar cash instruments.
