Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (ICE) CEO Jeffrey Sprecher has revealed that more than half of the group's institutional clients are interested in accessing prediction market data generated by its new partnership with prediction market platform Polymarket.
Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Financial Services Industry Conference on Tuesday, Mr. Sprecher said 10,000 of ICE's clients, originally focused on trading traditional commodities such as oil, gas and cocoa, are now closely monitoring the dynamics of prediction markets to determine how they will affect their current and future financial positions.
