Ismail Ibrahim, the eldest son of King Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar, has announced the launch of a stablecoin called RMJDT, pegged to the Malaysian ringgit, according to Bloomberg. The stablecoin will be backed by local currency cash deposits and short-term Malaysian government bonds, according to people familiar with the matter.
