According to Reuters, Bank of America announced that starting from January 5, 2026, the wealth advisors of its Private Bank, Merrill, and Merrill Edge can recommend crypto-related ETPs/ETFs to clients without setting an account asset threshold; previously, only customers with assets meeting the standard can access bitcoin ETFs since the beginning of 2024. This time, it has been upgraded from "executing customer instructions" to "providing configuration advice".
