U.S. stocks opened, the Dow rose 0.08%

The Dow Jones Industries Average Index was up 0.08 percent, the S & P 500 Index was up 0.17 percent and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.26 percent at the start of U.S. trading. Shares in Baidu (BIDU. O) rose about 6 percent after it was revealed that its AI chip unit Kunlun Core was planning an IPO in Hong Kong. (Jin Ten)
