North Korean hackers are targeting South Korean crypto firms with malicious software called durian

According to a May 9 threat report from cyber security firm Kaspersky, Kimsuky, a North Korean hacking group, used new malicious software called Durian to carry out a series of targeted attacks against at least two cryptocurrency companies. This was done through a sustained attack using legitimate security software dedicated to South Korean crypto firms.
According to Kaspersky, Durian has comprehensive backdoor capabilities that allow it to execute commands sent, download additional files, and leak files.
