The three major U.S. stock indexes closed up and down, with the Dow down 0.07%, the Nasdaq up 0.22%, the S & P 500 up 0.11%, and popular technology stocks up and down. Meta rose more than 3%, Nvidia rose more than 2%, and Amazon and Apple fell more than 1%. Crypto miners led the way, with Hut8 up nearly 7%.
