On May 13, HashKey Capital Limited, a global virtual asset management company, announced today that it has been granted a Category 4 license by the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission. The company's license number is BOP237, and it will officially become the first licensed institution to provide virtual asset and securities investment management and advisory services to retail investors under certain conditions. With the Category 4 license, HashKey Capital is authorized to provide virtual asset and investment advisory services to retail and professional investors, subject to the completion of due diligence and investment knowledge assessment of investors. Previously, the company's Category 9 license has been upgraded again, enabling it to expand its services to retail investors and provide services under the premise of managing a 100% virtual asset portfolio.
