On December 4th, Lido officially issued a statement saying that after the successful completion of the Ethereum Fusaka hard fork, there was a vulnerability on the client side of the Prysm consensus layer, resulting in problems with network participation. The Lido protocol is running normally, and the pledger does not need to worry. Due to the distributed and decentralized nature of the verification node set at the bottom of the protocol, Lido was less affected by this incident, and the quick response of the Prysm client side team and node operators helped to alleviate the problem.
The Lido team worked closely with the Prysm team to monitor the progress of the incident overnight and helped the affected node operators take the recommended temporary solution. At present, most of the Prysm settings running on Lido have been restored, and some nodes have temporarily switched to other client side configurations to complete the repair.
Lido: The issue caused by the client side of the Prysm consensus layer has been fixed, and the pledger is not affected.
