According to the official documentation of the Ethereum network, Ethereum has officially deployed the Fusaka upgrade. The upgrade is designed to enhance the network's transaction processing capabilities while maintaining existing security standards and decentralization levels.
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin wrote on the X platform on Wednesday night: "Warm congratulations to the Ethereum researchers and core developers who have worked hard over the years to make this happen."
The Fusaka upgrade went live on Hoodi, the Ethereum final test network, in October. At the heart of it is the EIP-7594 proposal - PeerDAS (Node Data Availability Sampling Protocol). This protocol allows Ethereum nodes to verify data integrity without downloading the full block data, achieving the core goal of "scaling without degradation" (i.e. increasing network capacity while retaining existing security parameters and decentralization features).
