Sportswear company Fanatics announced Wednesday that it is launching a fan-led prediction market platform, Fanatics Markets, through a strategic partnership with Crypto.com. Similar to Polymarket and Kalshi, Fanatics Markets will allow users to trade contracts that predict the outcome of real-world events.
According to the press release, Fanatics Markets will be launched in two phases. The first phase went live today and covers event contracts in sports, finance, economics and politics. The second phase will be launched early next year, when Fanatics Markets will expand into event contracts in cryptocurrency, stocks/IPOs, climate, pop culture, technology/artificial intelligence, film and music.
