Priyanka Jain, director of equity and crypto products at CME, pointed out that the volatility of Ethereum options is currently higher than that of Bitcoin, but it has attracted more traders to enter the market, driving up the active level of futures. In July this year, the unpositioned squaring of ETH futures also exceeded BTC for the first time. Although BTC still dominates by dollar volume, ETH derivatives participation is accelerating.
