Poland's president, Karol Nawrocki, has rejected proposals for a Crypto-Asset Market Act that would introduce strict rules for the country's crypto industry. The president's office issued a statement on Monday confirming that he would not sign the bill. President Karol Nawrocki rejected the bill on the grounds that it "truly threatens the freedom, property and national stability of Poles," noting that the bill's length (more than 100 pages) far exceeds the requirements of the European Union's MiCA regulations.
