Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said in a post on the X platform that on the first trading day after Vanguard lifted the ban on bitcoin ETFs, bitcoin rose 6% at the opening of the US stock market. In addition, IBIT traded $1 billion in the opening 30 minutes.
"I knew there was a bit of risk-taking in Vanguard," he says. "Even the most conservative investors like to add a bit of excitement to their portfolios."
Bitcoin rose 6% on the first day after Vanguard lifted its ban on bitcoin ETFs.
