Tether Data announced the launch of QVAC Fabric, a large language model framework that allows users to execute, train, and personalize large language models directly on everyday hardware, including consumer GPUs, laptops, and even smartphones. Tasks that previously required high-end Cloud as a Service or NVIDIA-specific systems can now be achieved only on users' existing devices. It is reported that the model supports training on a variety of GPUs, including AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, Apple Silicon, and mobile chips.
