Deutsche Bank analyst Antje Plafker pointed out that if the next Federal Reserve chairperson still responds to US President Trump's interest rate cut when inflation is high, the dollar may face downward pressure. Plafker believes that Hassett, the expected nominee for the White House National Economic Council, is a loyal supporter of Trump, which increases the possibility of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates. She said that if the Federal Reserve cannot effectively contain inflation risks, it will have a negative impact on the currency. (Jin Ten)
