According to organizers, this year's Bitcoin Asia conference in Hong Kong attracted a large audience from the Chinese mainland, but unlike the US Bitcoin conference, attendance was smaller.
David Bailey, co-founder and CEO of BTC Inc, which hosts the Bitcoin conference and owns Bitcoin Magazine, said about 5,500 attendees had been confirmed ahead of the conference, which took place on Thursday and Friday, and that's not counting the number of people who registered for the conference. The Chinese mainland have shown a lot of interest in the conference due to the recent launch of spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in Hong Kong, as well as the explosion of the L2 project. I think the ETF acknowledges to some extent that Bitcoin is here to stay.
