Apple Appoints Vice President of AI Business

Apple (AAPL. O) announced that Amar Subramanya has joined the company as vice president of artificial intelligence. John Giannandrea will officially retire in spring 2026, and his team will be taken over by Sabih Khan and Eddy Cue. Subramanya will be responsible for AI integration framework Foundation Models, machine learning research, and artificial intelligence security and evaluation.
