Goldman Sachs buys Innovator for $2 billion to add a Bitcoin-linked ETF to its product line

Goldman Sachs has agreed to buy Innovator Capital Management for about $2 billion, adding the issuer of "defined income" exchange traded funds (ETFs), including a bitcoin structured fund, to its asset management portfolio. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, adding about $28 billion of regulated assets to Goldman's asset management unit.
