On November 26, 2025, a fire broke out in Hung Fuk Court, Tai Po, Hong Kong. The fire quickly spread to many buildings, causing serious casualties. The fire alarm was raised from level 3 to level 5. As of December 1, the accident has killed hundreds of people and injured many others, including 11 firefighters; a 37-year-old firefighter died in the rescue operation.
