U.S. stocks opened lower, with the Dow down 0.63 percent, the S & P 500 down 0.6 percent and the Nasdaq down 0.85 percent. Synopsys (SNPS. O) rose 6.5 percent and Nvidia invested $2 billion in Synopsys. Wolfspeed (WOLF. N) rose nearly 8 percent after the company announced it had received a $698.60 million cash tax rebate.
