On December 1st, a level 5 fire broke out in Hongfu Court, Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong on the afternoon of November 26th, causing heavy casualties and property losses. This serious disaster affected the hearts of the whole territory and even the global Chinese community. All walks of life took prompt action to support the affected residents through donations, material assistance and volunteer services.
In this context, AB Charity Foundation made an initial donation of HK $10 million on 28 November 2025 and an additional donation of HK $2 million on 1 December, for a total of HK $12 million. The funds will be jointly used with the Hong Kong Association for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China to support the emergency relief and post-disaster community reconstruction work of the Hung Fuk Court fire in Tai Po.
So far, AB Charity Foundation has donated HK $12 million to the fire-related projects at Hung Fu Court in Tai Po through the Hong Kong General Assembly of the China Association for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification. The foundation hopes that with the joint efforts of the SAR government and all sectors of society, it will help the disaster-stricken residents return to normal life as soon as possible, and continue the "Spirit of Lion Rock" represented by watchfulness and solidarity.
In the future, AB Charitable Foundation will continue to provide donation support based on actual needs.
