On May 12, BNB Chain posted on social media that the opBNB testnet node must be upgraded to the latest version before the May 15 fork.
This upgrade will reduce the gas cost of the opBNB testnet by 10 times. The opBNB team reminds that all testnet nodes must upgrade to the latest version by 06:00 UTC on May 15th. In addition, this upgrade also includes the transition of DA data from calldata to blob format, as well as several opnode configuration changes.
Previously, opBNB released version v0.4.0, announcing that four hard fork upgrades of Snow, Shanghai/Canyon, Delta, and Cancun/Ecotone will be carried out on the testnet from 06:00-06:30 UTC on May 15.
