The National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) is considering investing up to $300 million in crypto assets, but has not yet locked in the final size, which may only be in the range of 50 million to 250 million dollars. Timur Suleimenov, chairperson of NBK, said that the crypto market has fallen sharply recently, and it needs to "let the dust settle" before entering the market cautiously. The funds come from the central bank's foreign exchange reserves rather than the state fund. Kazakhstan has previously established a national crypto fund, Alem Crypto Fund, and completed the first BNB investment.
